Engine Block Work
- We first Bore the block with a Rottler F2B boring machine then hone the block to the correct specification with Sunnen’s Latest Hone, the Sunnen SV10.
- Cylinders are honed with diamond stones to the correct specs for each application.
- Then blocked is aligned honed and then bored if needed.
- Block is then put in our industrial vat/hot tank to be cleaned thourghly.
Head Rebuilding
- Heads are always pressure tested and magnafluxed to ensure that the heads are in a good state and rebuildable.
- Cylinder valve seats are checked, and if needed we replace, then they have a 3 angle valve grind.
- Valves are then ground and tiped, if valves are bent they are replaced.
- Valve guides are checked and replaced if needed.
Assembly
- long blocks
- short blocks
- rolling assembly (only crank, rods, and pistons)
- install cam bearings
- install freeze plugs
- Install crank kit
- Long blocks will be SIM tested to ensure proper cylinder compression, oil pressure, and oil flow.
- Only when your engine passes these tests will it be sent out.
Crank
- Crank will be measured.
- Then crank will be ground and polished.
- We also offer crank welding and straightening if needed.
